King’s Soup on Ski Sunday in Surbiton

After another successful Surbiton Ski Sunday down St Mark’s Hill on Sunday 20 October it was off to St Andrew’s Square for the King’s Soup. Live bands entertained those attending. As people sheltered from the rain they were able to have the fresh leek and potato soup made on the spot.

Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee

The next meeting of the Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee is on Wednesday 6 November 2013 starting at 7:30pm. The meeting will be held at Dysart School, 190 Ewell Road, Surbiton. Everyone is welcome to attend the meeeting and able to give their views on most agenda items.

It was announced today that the Government had agreed to a new free secondary school in North Kingston. It will be on the site of the North Kingston Centre. There will also be a new primary school in Motspur Park but the Government did not give the go-ahead to a new primary school in Tolworth.

New Surbiton Health Centre to Open

The new Surbiton Health Centre on the old Surbiton Hospital site in Ewell Road will open on the 4th March. This follows the successful opening of the Lime Tree Primary School last September which is aadjacent to the new Health Centre.
