Last Sunday I joined volunteers from Charles Sumner House on the Alpha Road estate to plant daffodil bulbs in memory of my former councillor colleague Frances Moseley who died last December.
Bulbs have been planted in various places in the area so next spring there should be a host of golden daffodils brightening up the place.

It is also planned to commemorate the work of Frances by placing a commemorative placque on the estate at a place yet to be agreed.
