Thursday the 28th of November is the start of the Surbiton Christmas Celebrations for 2013 and all are welcome.

Events will start at 3pm outside Surbiton Station with face painting, choirs and Angels in the Sky. Santa will make an appearance to turn on the Christmas tree lights at about 5.30pm.

The fun continues with an After-Party in Brighton Road with a bar, bands and stalls.

At a recent Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee meeting councillors agreed to provide £5,500 towards the Christmas lights and organisation of the event on the 28 November.

Kingston Council are joined as sponsors by the Surbiton Business Community and The Community Brain.
